Following the recent uptick in people contracting Covid-19 and the Delta variant of the disease, St. Matthew’s is making a slight change in its Covid-19 protocols in church beginning with our worship services starting on Saturday, August 14.

The Delta Variant
The Center for Disease Control is encouraging all people - whether vaccinated or not - to take the new Delta variant of the coronavirus seriously since people who have been vaccinated can become infected and pass it along to others.

Please Wear a Mask in Church
According to the CDC, they are strongly encouraging all people who are gathering indoors, as we do in church, to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of the virus. Beginning Saturday, August 14th, this is our policy at St. Matthew’s. Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask when inside of the church.
