Life’s Battles

The challenge of life is to try to live contentedly. The battles of life cause us to lose sight of the most precious gift we receive from Him, namely, Jesus. As we claw our way through life, we fail to see that Jesus is right there with us.

The allegorical Christian poem “Footprints in the Sand” highlights our walk through life. We think that we’re alone through all the hardships, but as the words of that poem show us, God is there to carry us through the challenges.

Instead of holding onto the notion that we are individuals who can tackle the troubles of life, let us hold firm to Jesus. In our battles, we find the peace that comes from God.

We don’t fight the world alone. He is with us always.
